Announcement Regarding the Death of Dianne Feinstein: The White House

In honor of Senator Dianne Feinstein’s memory, I, as the President of the United States, through the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and military stations, and on all Federal Government naval vessels in the District of Columbia, as well as throughout the United States, its Territories, and possessions, until sunset on the day of interment.

I also direct that the flag be flown at half-staff during the same duration at all US embassies, legations, consular offices, and other foreign facilities, including all military facilities, naval vessels, and stations.”

I also extend this directive to include all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, as well as military installations, naval vessels, and stations overseas.
